On average, a dose of penicillin will be broken down in the blood so that one hour after injection only 60% will remain active. Suppose a patient is given an injection of 300 mg of penicillin at noon. Estimate the time it takes for an initial 300 mg dose to decay so that only 10 mg remain active.
