D and M mean division and multiplication, respectively. Notice how I grouped D and M together. This is because division and multiplication can be solved in the order they are given in (left to right). Lastly, we have A and S which mean addition and subtraction, respectively. Like division and multiplication, addition and subtraction are solved in the order they are given in.
