The correct inequality is 995≤ h ≥1005, Such that the height of the pole should not deviate by more than 5 cm from 1000 both on the upper limit and the lower limit. This means that the height of the pole should fall anywhere between 995 and 1005 Where both are inclusive such that the height can also be 995 or 1005. Other possibilities are in between 995 and 1005 but not outside this range.

The minimum height of the electric poles that the company manufactures is equal to 1000 less 5 centimeters. On the other hand the maximum height of the electric pole that they should manufacture should not exceed 1000 more than 5 centimeters. Having said that, the minimum should be equal to 995 and the maximum should only be 1005. In mathematical expression, the answer to this item is equal to,

    995 ≤ x ≤ 1005

where x is the height of the electric poles.
