    0.25q + 0.10d = 2.95

    q = d + 9

    0.25 (d + 9) + 0.10d = 2.95

    0.25d + 2.25 + 0.10d = 2.95

    0.25d + 0.10d = 2.95 - 2.25

    0.35d = 0.70

    d = 0.70/0.35

    d = 2 < = = = 2 dimes

    q = d + 9

    q = 2 + 9

    q = 11 < = = = 11 quarters
