    So, the first thing you need to do is get the denominators (bottom numbers) equal.

    so lucky for you, 100 is a multiple of 10. (10 x 10 = 100)

    in order to get 3/10 to be?/100, you need to multiply the top and bottom by 10

    so 3/10 x 10/10 (10/10 = 1 so you can multiply this without adding anything to the equation)

    so now you've got 30/100 + 62/100 so you can just add the numerators (top numbers) and get 92/100
