Exponential growth formula says that the amount or population at time (tx) is equal to the amount or population (t0) multiplied to e ^ (rate of growth) (time from tx to t0). In this case, rate of growth can be obtained from the population from 1995 to 1999 and this rate will be used to calculate the present population in 2004. Therefore, the country's population in 2004 is approximately 174 million.
