    2w+2l=60 and l = 3w+2

    All we need to do to find width is substitute the length in the perimeter formula with the length formula we have established.

    2w+2 (3w+2) = 60

    2w+6w+4=60

    8w+4=60

    8w=56

    w=7

    width is 7 feet
