The number 0 is part of a four-number data set. what must the other three numbers be (repeats allowed) so that the data set has the smallest possible standard deviation?

    Wouldn't it be 0? If you want the smallest possible standard deviation, then staying at 0 would be the way to do that. Or if they cannot be 0, they could be 0011, or just 0000.
