    Don't really know how to explain it, but here's an example on how to factor out the coefficient of the variable, hope this explains it!

    Factoring out the coeffecient of a variable:

    Example:

    9x-36

    How to factor the coeffecient of the variable: Would then get 9 (x-36)

    Another example:

    1/5k+15

    Answer: (1/5) (k+15)
