At a rugby tournament, each player on the top two teams receive medals. If 66 medals are purchased for the tournament, and each team has the same number of players, write an equation and then solve for the total number of medals needed for each team.

    I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, it's a pretty simple equation. What math are you in? This is how I would do it.

    66=2x

    Divide each side by 2

    66/2=2x/2

    33=x

    (So each team would need 33 medals so that every player would get one)
