If p and n are integers such that p>n>0 and p (squared) - n (squared) = 12, which of the following can be the value of p-n

    p²-n²=12

    Therefore:

    (p+n) (p-n) = 12

    Therefore:

    p-n=12 / (p+n)

    If p=4 and n=2

    p>n>0 as 4>2>0

    4-2=12 / (4+2)

    As:

    2=12/6

    So:

    p=4 and n=2.
