    24 cookies

    dean ate 8 cookies

    elise ate 4 cookies

    clark ate 6 cookies

    Step-by-step explanation:

i am pretty sure this is correct

make a diagram of a circle with twelve spots

change 1/3 to 4/12, so color in 4 spots for dean

multiplie 1/4 times 8/12 (the remaining spots), color in that number of spots for elise

do the same with 1/2, color in the amount of spots for clark

you will have 3 spots left, meaning each spot is worth 2 cookies

multiplie the number of spots times two to get your answer for each person
