    Hello:

    y = x² - 4x + 1

    calculate : x

    y = (x²-4x+4) - 4+1

    y+3 = (x-2) ²

    x exist : if y+3 ≥ 0

    y ≥ - 3

    the range is : {y: y ≥ - 3}
