2/3 (3x-6) = 8 how do you do this

    First multiply it by 3. that leaves it too:

    2 (3x-6) = 24

    then do the multiplication:

    6x-12=24

    then we have to get x by itself:

    6x = 24+12

    6x=36

    then isolate x obe final time by dividing bith sides by 6:

    6x:6 = 36:6

    x=6

    Multiply 2/3 and (3x-6) which is 2x-4. Then, add four to 8 so you will have 2x=12 and divide 12/2 and you will get x=6
