    All u need to do is look at the x values ... if there is no repeating x values, it is a function ... does not matter if the y values repeat or not.

    relation t : (0,-8) (2,-7) (4,-4) (6,-4)

    since there is no repeating x values, this IS a function

    inverse of relation t : switch ur x and y terms

    (-8,0) (-7,2) (-4,4) (-4,6)

    since there ARE repeating x values of - 4, this is NOT a function

    so relation t is a function and the inverse of relation t is not a function ... answer is D.
