A stage designer is making a rectangular drape that is 7 yards in length and 16 yards in width. The fabric for the drape cost $2.90 per square yard. How much will it cost to make the drape?

    Yard to square yard

    example: 1yard*1 = 1square yard so 6*6=36 square yards. 7*7=42

    36*2.90=104.40

    42*2.90=121.8

    104.40+121.8=$226.20
