    Measure of angle a = a

    measure of angle b = b, b = 16 + 3a

    measure of angle c = c, c = 44 + a

    all three angles within any triangle have a sum of 180°, so a + b + c = 180

    Now substitute:

    a + (16 + 3a) + (44 + a) = 180

    a + 3a + a + 16 + 44 = 180

    5a + 60 = 180

    5a + 60 - 60 = 180 - 60

    5a = 120

    5a/5 = 120/5

    a = 24

    b = 16 + 3a = 16 + 3 (24) = 16 + 72 = 88

    c = 44 + a = 44 + 24 = 68
