At a hardware store, a tool set normally costs $80. During a sale this week, the tool set costs $12 less than usual. What percentage of the usual price is the savings? Explain or show your reasoning.

    You have to do a proportion

    12. = x

    80 100 and u have to cross multiply

    80x = 1200

    80. 80

    then divide 1200:80=15
