A horse is tied to a 20ft long rope. The horse wants some oaks from an oak tree. The oak tree is 30ft away. The horse gets the oaks easily. Why is this?

    Ah ... this riddle is good. It took me several seconds. The riddle doesn't say anything about where the horse is tied to. The riddle makes us automatically assume that the horse was tied down to a post that is 20ft from the tree, but the horse could be tied to the tree itself.
