If the Large pizza pie at your pizza shop has a circumference of 40 inches, will this fit on a pizza tray that has a diameter of 14 inches? Why or why not?

    Yes it will because the radius of 40 is is 4-0 and then once that includes all the measurements that equals 14 + equal the other circle because of the radius of that circle.

    Yes, it will fit. To find the circumference of the pizza tray, you have to multiply the diameter and pi. 14*π=43.9822971503. That is larger than the pizza itself, so it will fit on the tray.
