    5 cookies left

    Step-by-step explanation:

take the number of cookies made and find how many is in each third (#cookies / 3) = 60/3 = 20 find the number of cookies sold = 20*2 = 40 find the number of cookies Mrs. Onusko has left after the bake sale (number of cookies made - number of cookies sold) = 60 - 40 = 20 find how many cookies are in each fourth of the leftover cookies (#of cookies left / 4) = 20/4 = 5 find the number of cookies Mrs. Onusko gives to the sale workers = 5*3 = 15 find number of cookies Mrs. Onusko has left (number of cookies left after sale - number of cookies given to the sale workers) = 20 - 15 = 5

Number of cookies left = 5
