    Solve for x over the real numbers:

    x csc (x) = csc (x)

    Subtract csc (x) from both sides:

    x csc (x) - csc (x) = 0

    Factor csc (x) from the left hand side:

    csc (x) (x - 1) = 0

    Multiply both sides by sin (x) assuming sin (x) !=0:

    x - 1 = 0 for sin (x) !=0

    Add 1 to both sides:

    Answer: x = 1
