The pool is losing 8 gallons per hour.

Multiply the number of gallons per hour by the number of hours:

    -8 x 6 = - 48

The pool lost 48 gallons in 6 hours.

Now add that amount to the amount in the pool:

    48 + 132 = 180 gallons

The pool originally had 180 gallons.
