If your question was asking to round to the nearest tenths place, then it would be the same, as this is a whole number. That is to say, it is not a decimal.
Now, if you were asking to round to the nearest tenths place for the number 2.36, then it would be 2.4.
A simple rhyme to remember how to round is, "Four or less, let it rest. Five or more, up the score."
