There is 6.74 quarts left in the cooler.

    Since 5 of the glasses have a capacity of 0.36 qt, this is a total of 5 (0.36) = 1.8 qt. The 8 glasses that have a capacity of 0.52 qt have a total of 8 (0.52) = 4.16 qt. This gives a total of 4.16+1.8 = 5.96 qt.

To find the remaining, subtract from 12.7:

    12.7-5.96 = 6.74 qt.
