    F (x) = - x² + 49

    g (x) = - x + 7

    (f - g) (x) = (-x² + 49) - (-x + 7)

    (f - g) (x) = (-x² + 49) + (x - 7)

    (f - g) (x) = - x² + x + 49 - 7

    (f - g) (x) = - x² + x + 42
