Joe bought 6 jars of sauce for $15. What is the cost for 10 jars of this sauce?

    15:6=2.5 The cost of one jar of sauce is $2.5

    2.5*10=25 The cost of ten jars of sauce is $25

    The easiest way to do this is to set up a proportion.

    6/15 = 10/x.

    Cross multiply, solve and get 25
