    If Mr. Carlo wants to have a volume to be between 36 and 56 cubic feet, you need to find a height that meets this requirement.

    Use the formula for volume of a rectangular prism to guide you.

    V = lwh

    36 = 5 x 2 x h

    36 = 10h

    h = 3.6 feet

    Or 56 = 5 x 2 x h

    56 = 10h

    h = 5.6 feet

    The height would need to be between 3.6 and 5.6 feet.
