A tapered container filled with 1,000 gallons of water has a small hole at the bottom such that 3 gallons a minute pours out. If you graphed the number of gallons in the container as the output, compared to the number of minutes as input, what would the graph look like? Which of the following would not be true?

    The graph would be a line. Starting at 1000 gallons, decreasing by 3 gal/min (-3 slope) until the tank is empty (333.3, 0)

    y = - 3x + 1000
