    1. $107,000,000

    2. High school algebra gets the most $51,000,000

    Step-by-step explanation:

Son gets $10,000 that is 1%.

    So,

Lawyer gets 9% that is $90,000

Daughter gets 40% that is $400,000

Wife gets 50% that is $500,000

    In total they get $1,000,000

    $50,000,000 goes for hospital.

In total, $51,000,000 is exactly half of the remainder.

High school algebra gets another half that is $51,000,000

    And dog gets $5,000,000.

    1. I. M's rich fortune was

    $51,000,000 + $51,000,000 + $5,000,000 = $107,000,000

    2. High school algebra gets the most $51,000,000
