Find the volume of a frustum of a right pyramid whose lower base is a square with a side 5in. And whose upper base is a square with a side 3in., and whose altitude is 12 in. Round your answer to the nearest hole number.

    The volume of the frustrum is the difference in the volumes of these two pyramids:

    30 * 5^2 / 3 - 18 * 3^2 / 3

    = 750/3 - 162/3

    = 250 - 54

    = 196 cubic inches.
