There are 12 state quarters and 4 regular quarters in a jar. Charles randomly picks a quarter and replaces it back in the jar. He then picks another quarter out of the jar. What is the probability that both are state quarters? Question 10 options: 16/9 1 9/16 24

    Why?

    Because 16:4 on quarters is 4:1 or 4/5 of the jar! Chances of you picking 4/5 is 80% so. 80 x. 80 =.64 or just over 3/5
