Okay so there is 1 cell and it starts doubling at 12:00 every 15 minutes that is 4 times every hour and there is three hours so 4 x 3 = 12 so it doubles 12 times then 12 x 2 = 24 so at 3pm that cell would have multiplied it self into 24 other cells

    12:15 - 1+1 = 2

    12:30 - 2 + 2 = 4

    12:45 - 4 + 4 = 8

    1 - 8 + 8 = 16

    1:15 ...

    ...

    3 - 4096
