If the area of a square is numerically twice the perimeter of that square, what is the side of the square?

    Let "s" be the side of the square then:

    perimeter = 4s

    area = s ²

    2s² = 4s

    s² = 2s

    s² - 2s = 0

    s (s-2) = 0

    s = 0 ∅

    or

    s - 2 = 0

    s = 2
