John has a 6cm long rose candle. He lights the candle at 7pm. After two hours it was 3cm long. Find the slope of the line.

    slope = change in height/change in time

    (0,6) (2,3)

    = (6-3) / ((0-2)

    = 3/-2

    =-3/2

    The slope is - 3/2
