Find the area of a sector with a central angle of 170° and a diameter of 9.1 cm. Round to the nearest tenth.

    A central angle:

    α = 170°

    d = 9.1 cm

    r = 9.1 : 2 = 4.55 cm

    Area of a sector:

    A = r² π α / 360°

    A = (4.55) ² · 3.14 · 170° / 360°

    A = 30.7 cm²
