A patient is put on a diet to lose 35 pounds in three months. The patient loses 14 1/2

pounds the first month and 12 3/4 pounds the second month. How much weight must

    My work:

    14.5+12.75=27.25

    35-27.25=7.75

    Note - i changed the fractions into decimals because it was easier to put into my calculator
