You need to arrange four of your favorite books along a small shelf. How many different ways can you arrange the books assuming the order of the books make a difference

    Well per book there are 4 spots it could be in. So the ratio of books per spots is 1:4, you multiply this by 4 because of four books and her 4:16, making the amount of ways to set them being 16.
