How to find the volume of a equilateral triangular prism?

    The formula for a prism is the area of the base multiplied by the height. To find the area of the base of a triangular prism you would use the formula for the area of a triangle which is 1/2 base*height and then you would multiply that number by the height of the prism and your answer would need to be in cubic units.
