84 pumpkins; less than she expected

    Step-by-step explanation:

Find 20% of 100 and add the percent to 100. That is 120. Then find 30% of 120, which is 36. Then do 100-36 to get 84 pumpkins. That is less than 100 so she got less than she hoped.

    Final # of pumpkins: 90

The final number of pumpkins is less than she hoped.
