    Let x be the number of rows.

    We solve the equation: x * (2 + 3) = 150.

    x * 5 = 150.

    x = 150 : 5.

    x = 30.

    a. There are 2 * 30 = 60 seats on the left side of the plane.

    b. There are 3 * 30 = 90 seats on the right side of the plane.
