What is the slope that passes through the lines (2.1,-4.2) and (2.5,-5)

    slope = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

    = (-5--4.2) / (2.5 - 2.1)

    (-5+4.2) / (2.5-2.1)

    =-.8/.4

    m=-2

    the slope is - 2
