What are the x and y intecepts of the graph of the equation 6x - 5y=3

    Then, to find the y intercept, look at the last number in the equation. It is always the y-intercept as long as the equation is in slope-intercept form. Y-intercept=3/5.

    Next, plug in y as zero to get the x-intercept. You should get - 1/2.

    y-int = (0,3/5)

    x-int = (-1/2,0)

    The x-intercept is negative 1/2

    this is because i plugged in 0 for x, and got the y-intercept and plugged in 0 for y and got the x-intercept
