20% off of $360 is sale price of $288.00

    Either way is same price.

If it is the same refrigerator model and they are running a sale, I would say the sale model is smarter purchase considering the one not on sale that was already at a discounted price would have to be marked lower for a reason, like it was previously purchased & returned, a floor model, missing an accessory, refurbished, out of box item, or even slightly damaged perhaps (dent, crack, chip, etc).

    Step-by-step explanation:

    20% of $360.00 =

    0.2 * 360 = 72.0

    360 - 72 = $288.00
