    Number = 91

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let my number is "xy", where "x" is on tens place and "y" is on ones place.

    From question it is given that

    x - y = 8

    x = y + 8

    since "x" cannot be more than "9", so y could be "0" or "1"

    but it is also given that y ≠ 0. So y = 1

    and x = 1 + 8 = 9

    so number is 91
