The surface area of a rectangular prism is 208 cm2. Two of the dimensions are 2cm and 10cm. Find the measure of the other dimension.

    Surface area = 2 (lw+lh+wh)

    Plug in values

    2 (2*10+2*x+10*x)

    2 (20+2x+10x)

    2 (20+12x)

    40+24x

    40+24x=208

    24x=168

    x=7
