    The equation is:

    |88 - x| < = 7.5

    To solve:

    1. Rewrite the inequality without the absolute value bars

    -7.5 < = 88 - x < = 7.5

    2. Subtract 88 from the whole equation

    -7.5 - 88 < = - x < = 7.5 - 88

    3. Simplify

    -95.5 < = - x < = - 80.5

    4. Multiply the whole equation by - 1

    - (-7.5 - 88) > = - x > = - (7.5 - 88)

    5. Simplify

    95.5 > = x > = 80.5
