    the perimiter of a circle is called the circumference

    the circumference=diamter times pi

    pi=π≈3.14

    given that the diameter is 2.5, the circumference or perimiter is 2.5π≈2.5*3.14=7.86 units

    The perimeter of a circle is it's circumference, and the formula is pi x d.
