A recipe calls for 2 3/4 cups of milk. if the recipe is tripled, how much milk is needed?

    To be tripled means to be multiplied by 3. So multiply 2 3/4 by 3

    2 3/4*3=8 1/4

    Therefore the amount of milk needed is 8 1/4 cup
