8x - 4y = - 12
4y = 8x + 12
y = 8/4 x + 12/4
y = 2x + 3
When x = - 3,
y = 2 (-3) + 3 = - 6 + 3 = - 3
When x = - 1,
y = 2 (-1) + 3 = - 2 + 3 = 1
When x = 1,
y = 2 (1) + 3 = 2 + 3 = 5
